"We are never as safe and strong as when we are sure we are loved."

Areas of Expertise

Individual

Individual therapy can be a very powerful experience that allows you to work through past and present hurts, wounds, and challenges. Having a safe space to explore yourself, process past hurts, and cultivate deep connection with others can bring about life-changing results. I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you as you work towards healing.

Marriage and Family

Each of us is wired for love, belonging, and connection with others. But relationships are hard work! Whether with our significant other, child, or other important relationships in our lives, at times we can feel hopeless, stuck, disconnected, and longing to see change take place. I am passionate about helping couples, families and kids thrive, become healthy, and see relationships restored. If you are interested in developing deeper and healthier connections, marriage and family therapy might be the right fit for you!

Children

I have had the privilege of working with children and their families for the last 15 years and find so much joy in collaborating with parents and their kids to help them flourish. Children are unique in that they do not have the same skills and abilities yet in place to help them deal with everyday challenges. Sometimes kids need a unique space to express themselves and learn the skills they need to cope. I would love the opportunity to work with your child to see them grow and succeed.

My Approach

It takes courage to show up and be seen, to share your story, and invest in yourself. Each individual is unique, our stories are unique, and they deserve to be explored and shared. The fact that you are considering counseling is an important first step in your journey.

I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy and my therapeutic approach stems from my love of Attachment theory and Family Systems theories. I also love to utilize EMDR. I believe that each person is unique and, therefore, I take a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy. In order to individualize therapy with each client to meet their unique needs, I incorporate many theories and techniques into my work. I aim to provide support, compassion, understanding and practical feedback in a safe environment to assist clients in effectively addressing personal and relational life challenges.
